Volume 2, Book 26, Number 680:
Narrated Az-Zubair bin 'Arabi:
A man asked Ibn 'Umar (radiallaahu `anhu) about the touching of the Black Stone. Ibn 'Umar (radiallaahu `anhu) said, "I saw Allah's Apostle (sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) touching and kissing it." The questioner said, "But if there were a throng (much rush) round the Ka'ba and the people overpowered me, (what would I do?)" He replied angrily, "Stay in Yemen (as that man was from Yemen). I saw Allah's Apostle (sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) touching and kissing it."
LOL @ Ibn `Umar (radiallaahu `anhu)'s reply. :P
Volume 2, Book 26, Number 681:
Narrated Ibn Abbas (radiallaahu `anhu):
The Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) performed Tawaf of the Ka'ba while riding a camel, and whenever he came in front of the Corner, he pointed towards it (with something).
Volume 2, Book 26, Number 682:
Narrated Ibn Abbas (radiallaahu `anhu):
The Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) performed Tawaf of the Ka'ba riding a camel, and every time he came in front of the Corner (having the Black Stone), he pointed towards it with something he had with him and said Takbir.
Tawaaf or circumambulation of the Ka’bah is a pure act of worship and the basic principle with regard to acts of worship is tawqeef (i.e., to do them exactly as prescribed in the Qur'aan and Sunnah). It is proven from the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that he used to say takbeer in his tawaaf every time he came in line with the Black Stone, and undoubtedly the person who is doing tawaaf comes in line with it at the end of the seventh circuit, so it is Sunnah for him to say takbeer just as it is Sunnah for him to say takbeer at the beginning of every circuit when he comes in line with it, following the example of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), along with pointing at the Black Stone and kissing it if he can.
