Following Someone in Tawaaf (Ahadith 1386 – 1388)

Bismillah.
Ahadith 1384 & 1385 (below) are repeats. Read here.
Volume 2, Book 26, Number 684:
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar (radiallaahu `anhu):
When Allah's Apostle (sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) performed Tawaf of the Ka'ba for Hajj or 'Umra, he used to do Ramal during the first three rounds, and in the last four rounds he used to walk; then after the Tawaf he used to offer two Rakat and then performed Tawaf between Safa and Marwa.

Volume 2, Book 26, Number 685:
Narrated Ibn 'Umar (radiallaahu `anhu):
When the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) performed the Tawaf of the Ka'ba, he did Ramal during the first three rounds and in the last four rounds he used to walk and while doing Tawaf between Safa and Marwa, he used to run in the midst of the rain water passage.

Today's Ahadith:

Volume 2, Book 26, Number 686:
Narrated Um Salama (the wife of the Prophet) (radiallaahu `anhaa):
I informed Allah's Apostle (sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) that I was ill. So he said, "Perform the Tawaf while riding behind the people." I did so, and at that time the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) was praying beside the Ka'ba and reciting Surat-at-Tur.

Volume 2, Book 26, Number 687:
Narrated Ibn Abbas (radiallaahu `anhu):
While the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) was performing Tawaf of the Kaba, he passed by a person who had tied his hands to another person with a rope or string or something like that. The Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) cut it with his own hands and said, "Lead him by the hand."

Volume 2, Book 26, Number 688:
Narrated Ibn Abbas (radiallaahu `anhu):
The Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) saw a man performing Tawaf of the Kaba tied with a string or something else. So the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) cut that string.

One may follow another in tawaaf, e.g. the group leader or mahram, but they have to make sure to only be led by hand. Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) discouraged the use of string/rope etc. that tied up the follower to the leader, as in the above Ahadith.

When Should Those Who Are Behind The Imaam Prostrate? (Ahadith 658-659)

Salam,
Bismillah.

Volume 1, Book 11, Number 658:
Narrated Al-Bara' (and he was not a liar):
When Allah's Apostle said, "Sami`a-llahu liman hamidah " none of us bent his back (for prostrations) till the Prophet prostrated and then we would prostrate after him.

 Volume 1, Book 11, Number 659:
Narrated Abu Ishaq:
as above.

If you can see the Imaam in front of you, wait for him to change his position fully, and then change yours. Don't just follow the takbeers.

This Salah discipline teaches you life discipline as well. Always wait for your leader's signal before going about an action. It's called 'following'.

Wassalam.
