Before you commit any sin think:


 
[041:020] Till, when they reach it (Hell-fire), their hearing (ears) and their eyes and their skins will testify against them as to what they used to do.

[041:021] And they will say to their skins, "Why do you testify against us?" They will say: "Allâh has caused us to speak – as He causes all things to speak, and He created you the first time, and to Him you are made to return."

[041:022] And you have not been hiding yourselves (in the world), lest your ears and your eyes and your skins should testify against you; but you thought that Allâh knew not much of what you were doing.

[041:023] And that thought of yours which you thought about your Lord, has brought you to destruction; and you have become (this Day) of those utterly lost!

[041:024] Then, if they bear the torment patiently, then the Fire is the home for them, and if they seek to please Allâh, yet they are not of those who will ever be allowed to please Allâh.

[041:025] And We have assigned for them (devils) intimate companions (in this world), who have made fair-seeming to them, what was before them (evil deeds which they were doing in the present worldly life and disbelief in the Reckoning and the Resurrection) and what was behind them (denial of the matters in the coming life of the Hereafter as regards punishment or reward). And the Word (i.e. the torment) is justified against them as it was justified against those who were among the previous generations of jinn and men that had passed away before them. Indeed they (all) were the losers.

[041:026] And those who disbelieve say: "Listen not to this Qur'ân, and make noise in the midst of its (recitation) that you may overcome."

[041:027] But surely, We shall cause those who disbelieve to taste a severe torment, and certainly, We shall requite them the worst of what they used to do.

[041:028] That is the recompense of the enemies of Allâh: the Fire. Therein will be for them the eternal home, a (deserving) recompense for that they used to deny Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.).

[041:029] And those who disbelieve will say: "Our Lord! Show us those among jinn and men who led us astray, that we may crush them under our feet so that they become the lowest."

[Al Quran, 41:20-25]

Ethnocentrism and Ideology: Justifying Today's "Just Wars"

In the past, the colonial powers of Western Europe would indoctrinate their people. Their objective was to acquire popular support for colonial conquest. This took the form of spreading Christianity and promoting Christian values with the support of armed merchants and colonial armies.

At the same time, racist ideologies were put forth. The people whose lands were colonized were portrayed as "sub-human," inferior, or soulless. Finally, the "White Man's burden" of taking on a mission of civilizing the so-called "uncivilized peoples of the world" was used. This cohesive ideological framework was used to portray colonialism as a "just cause." The latter in turn was used to provide legitimacy to the waging of "just wars" as a means to conquering and "civilizing" foreign lands.

Today, the imperialist designs of the United States, Britain, France, and Germany have not changed. What has changed is the pretext and justification for waging their neo-colonial wars of conquest. During the colonial period, the narratives and justifications for waging war were accepted by public opinion in the colonizing countries, such as Britain and France. Today's "just wars" and "just causes" are now being conducted under the banners of women's rights, human rights, humanitarianism, and democracy.

O you all who are Ghurabas, time is near

Assalam O Alikum Wr Wb, I want to share with all of you guys a concern, a fear and a news in the making. It surrounds the fact that the image of Islam and muslim has been so misrepresented by the media, the most tolerant people are shown as the most inhumane, hostile and intolerant people on earth, the women of Islam have become an image of oppression and man control, Islamic sharia is been presented as brutal and barbaric, the sunnah of the prophet is made fun of, even so the sahabas and the prophets of Islam are disrespected.

The time is near where holding on to Islam would really be like holding onto red hot embers.
Muslims you are being alienated to Islam.

O you all who are Ghurabas, WAllahi time is near where you would know the real sense of being a ghuraba, where you are rejected out rightly, you are demonized and made fun of publicly. Remember that time in your heads, and prepare your iman, because it would be like a coin toss, and you better know whose side you are on, Islam or the Kufars.
I pray that Allah make this time easy for us, truly a big trial is near may Allah help us successfully pass it.

ipoet: To Music

O music what do you want me to forget?
The past or the future?
Or the sound of the present?
What is real and what is surreal,
you blur the lines of reality for me.
I may never understand what you mean,
but I do know what I want…
I want the peace of kalamullah,
something you are devoid of.
You may have a propped up voice,
but you can never echo in the universe.
You may penetrate my mind,
but you would not steel my heart.
I want to drink the smell of citrus,
I don’t want the poisoned milk.
